Good interactive toy for an 8th birthday

My grandson wanted a robot for his birthday and when I found this one I felt it fitted the bill - a good toy which has the added bonus of being educational as well as fun. Dad helped to build it and he was excited to show me how it worked. He liked the fact that you use a computer to control the robot but also clapping his hands.

Great little robot

The Cyber Talk robot was great fun to build. We have a couple of Amazon Fire 7s and they paired fine with the robot. All the features worked great including the block programming. The voice effects take a little practice, as it tends to be very robotic, so tricky to understand, but you get used to it. The app is great and also includes lots of sound effects - dogs, bells and screams, which are great for kids playing pranks :-)
