Bill takes his name from Bill Sparshatt, the record-breaking driver who took the train to 100mph in 1934, and stands at 25.5cm tall. This official collector’s item is handmade from the finest reddish-brown mohair. Plus, Bill’s smart uniform and cap are the colour of the legendary locomotive. There are also two 22ct gold-plated pin badges for extra charm – one on his cap (inspired by the Flying Scotsman’s nameplate), and one on his overalls (depicting the locomotive travelling at full steam).
