The skull image takes inspiration from The French surgeon and anatomist, Jules Cloquet, who produced the illustrated plate of a human skull in the early 19th century as part of his work Anatomie de l'homme. This skilled surgeon illustrated most of the 1300 illustrations in his work as well as inventing medical tools (the arterial forceps) and lending his name to various medical discoveries do to with the femoral canal (e.g. Cloquet‘s gland).
