In The Human Cosmos Jo Marchant takes us on a tour through the history of humanity's relationship with the heavens, and explores the crucial role it has played in making us who we are today. We travel to the Hall of the Bulls in Lascaux, witness the summer solstice at a 5,000-year-old tomb at Newgrange and visit Tahitian sailors navigating by the stars. And we discover why stargazing can be really, really good for us.

Purchase of The Human Cosmos includes exclusive admission to the online event: Jo Marchant in Conversation with Martin Rees, on Thursday 17 September, 7.30 – 8.30pm on YouTube Live. Purchasers will receive an email containing a private link to attend, the day before the event.
