My 6 year old son loved this. Be warned it is messy - so ideal if they can do it outside! Unfortunately he couldn't find the last (5th) fossil. I'm guessing it was the smallest and got lost in the rubble mess when the block was demolished?! Despite that, it is a really nice set and he has 4 real fossils in a pouch with a booklet to explain what they are. He was very impressed that they were real fossils and not just pretend ones.

Nice kit. My five-year-old daughter loved it and it kept her busy for an afternoon. She found the wooden chisel ineffective and used a teaspoon instead.
