The base is lighter and flimsier than expected, and arrived with a slight chip, although luckily at the back. The lamp casts a nice glow on the walls and ceiling when in use. I wish the ball was slightly more opaque, as I can see the bright bulb inside a little bit and the effect would be perfect if it were totally muted. Overall, its a great dupe for another more expensive version of this lamp, and I'm happy with it.

The light is excellent, really impressed with the way it looks, not too impressed that I had to re-glue the globe to the base when we got it out of the box, some re-thinking needed here. Can't be sure if it was us who broke it when lifting it out of the box or if it was broken on delivery.... not a huge problem as we had some glue handy. Did I say - it looks great!!

I was a little disappointed, as the description led me to believe it was like a firework display, and therefore I was under the impression that the lights moved in some way or changed colour, whereas they are static. However, it is nevertheless an attractive light and I'm happy to have it.
